Cllr. Crosby - M25:25 - Scramogue Crossroads That Roscommon County Council make an urgent submission to Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) seeking immediate and comprehensive safety measures at Scramogue Crossroads where the R371 crosses the N5.
This dangerous junction is widely recognized as a major accident blackspot, with fatalities, serious injuries and collisions over the years. There is inadequate signage, road markings, and no public lighting, making it especially dangerous at night.
With the new N5 bypass due to open within 12 months and traffic expected to increase significantly, urgent action is required to prevent further loss of life. Additional documents: |

Cllr. Duffy - M:25 - Creagh Area Plan I am calling on Roscommon County Council to revise, update, and create a new Creagh Area Plan. The current plan was previously developed to cover the years 2008 - 2014. Recognising that this work will take time, given new legislation since 2014 and also the need to consult and engage with Galway County Council, it would be important to put a realistic timeline together to move on this issue. Whether there has been any re-examination of the Vulnerable Customer Register. Additional documents: |
