Notices Of Motion

8.26a

MB2.26 Cllr. Tom Crosby

That the Director of Services provide an update to the meeting on the current funding application for the provision of footpaths and public lighting along the Ballytoohey Road. This route serves the local national school and a densely populated area, including four housing estates connecting into Tarmonbarry Village. This matter has been on Roscommon County Council’s agenda for a long number of years.

8.26b

MB3.26 Cllr. Micheal Frain

That Roscommon County Council secure funding for Safety Works to be carried out on the Castlerea Road, and the Sligo Road in Ballaghaderreen.  These two roads are located on the very busy R293, and traffic volume and speed are of serious concerns to people in this area.

8.26c

MB4.26 Cllr. Sean Moylan

I call on Roscommon County Council to install 8 to 10 '2-hour parking' places in Elphin St. and Main St. in Boyle.  There is a huge problem on both of these streets with long-term parking, and this is having a very negative effect on business and householders on these streets.  This has worked very well in Roscommon town and would answer a lot of problems.
