Mr. Martin Lydon presented for consideration of the members the Draft Traveller Accommodation Programme effective for a period of five years from 1^st July 2019 to 30^th June 2024. The report was prepared in accordance with the Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act 1998 programme. He outlined the consultation process, including the public consultation and details of the two submissions received. The Draft plan was considered by the Local Traveller Accommodation Consultative Committee and the Housing Strategic Committee on a number of occasions and is now recommended for approval by the Council.
